so here is the video of my surprise visit home for Thanksgiving. We all pile in to their house and I'm at the very end...you will be able to tell when she finally sees me! Noises of the year!

Zach and I are sitting at the airport watching this and I'm totally tearing up, partly from being touched partly from laughing so hard. Love it!! I also want to add that you look pretty hot :)! (after that comment I better make sure everyone knows this is Kim writing)
Okay so YEAH...I'm with the other two who commented. As much as I laughed, like A LOT, I cried even more. Serious tears. That video is awesome! I love it for so many reasons, one of which is that you sound just like your sisters and that cracked me up, another of which being your niece and nephew in the car in the beginning. Priceless. And then of course your mom. :) I'm so coming to Iowa...

So... yeah, my sister had almost the exact same reaction. I told my mom and dad that I was coming into town (because they directly asked me if I was going to be able to make the wedding of a friend of mine's that Friday night). Otherwise, I would have surprised them too.
But my sister was holding our nephew at the time when I surprised her and she immediately teared up and kept saying "take the baby, take the baby..." to her boyfriend. So she wouldn't drop "monkey". It was great! Surprising is wonderful.
I'm sad I missed you, and that video said it all for how much you are loved here. :)

Hey Emily, It is Laura Ingram. I was watching fully expecting to laugh at how surprised your mom was and instead I started crying!!!! What a baby I am. That was beautiful. I have also surprised my mom like that and they always cry--seems weird but you feel so loved in that moment. Like they wait everyday they are not with you just incase you decided to pop in. And if you did every day they would be just as happy!
Yes, you do look hot and that was the funniest thing i have ever seen. You should enter it in America's Funniest Home Videos. That is sort of dumb but you know you might make some bank. Cha-ching.
