Beautiful Feet Reunion

The band got together for a "reunion" on Friday night. It is always great to still get together and catch up even though we were not all able to be there. Z is in TN, Nox is in CA, and Joe is in MO. So it's a little more difficult for them to come back for these things. It was sad thinking of it being my last "reunion" for awhile since I'm moving soon. (in 3 wks! AHH) It was a lovely evening for Dinner we had Kabobs and Shadley, being the creative person that she is, made little stations for us...

Shadley working the veggie station...
Aaron working the meat station...

Here were cute little signs above the table, it as also Kinsey's b-day!!!
There was a cowboy theme, since I will be going into cowboy territory soon! (notice the cowboy hat-that will show up later in some pics!)

I think fanatic fans (who weren't junior high girls) should be invited to the next reunion. EMILY!!! I miss you! It was so sad/fun to see all the Beautiful Feet people. Oh, I love seeing all you guys and seeing you and Rachel. Ahhh... what fun! I love you lots, Em.

Emily, it's sooooo weird. I've known you longer than you've known me!

When I was a senior in high school, i went to a conference in Des Moines for students in leadership or something. And the band there was 24-7, and I got to meet Tim Noxon, Zach, and the others. I dont remember if you were there...but it was my first encounter with the band.

Then in college, Beautiful Feet played for Main Event. And I saw them a few other times. I remember thinking "I wish I could sing like those girls" there was one (you) w/ dark curly hair and another w/ blonde hair.

Then I went to A330, and I'm pretty sure you sang w/ Brian Bergmann with his worship team that day. not sure - but it's in my memory.

And now we meet via blogging. WOW! It's so cool to me.

I'm glad you had a semi-reunion (being that some were not present). Three weeks till Austin??? WOW! I'm excited for you and Hilary.

Joanna-Yes!! next time we can arrange it so that "fans" can come as well. You of course...screaming jr. high girls...probably not!

Keli-Yes, it's crazy!! I think there was one year, the first year, we played for the Student Leadership conference in Des Moines that the girls were not at. That might have been the same year. Main Event was amazing. The years we were able to lead worship for that was incredible. Some of my favorite memories of the band. The Louie Giglio year especially. It was amazing to work alongside of him.
Yes, I also lead with Bryan Bergmann for A330. Good memories! It's cool that you shared in that and I didn't even know it! And now here we are sharing life together! Cool!

I think Kelli was one of the junior high girls that was screaming for Tim Noxon, right Kelli? That's okay, Kelli, Kimbra forgives you. ha ha Just kidding.
Em, three weeks until you can officially be called a Texan (except by texans who are pretty selfish of sharing that term). You can wear a cowboy hat, line dance, fall in love with a cowboy, and send "Don't Mess With Texas" bumper stickers home to all your friends. I would like one as well. I can get you a "Samurai Spirit" ninja headband from Japan.
and before I send off, I will throw in the "can't wait to sleep on your couch" for good measure. I love you and can't wait to sleep on your couch. I love you!

Yep - I'm pretty sure that Louie Giglio year was my favorite as well. Do you remember the end of worship Saturday night? The entire, entire room sang the doxology and other songs acapella, and IT WAS AMAZING. Oh man, just now, as i wrote that, goosebumps came back - it's like the Spirit confirming that THAT experience was IN the Spirit! I loved it. Yes.

Ooh, and did you know that the A330 you and Brian played together at was the first time Joanna and I met? WIERD! Yes. It was an instant sort of best-friendship. I love it.

Life is COOL. Thank you Lord, for giving us intricate connections and memories. Thank you for being near to us.
