So I would love any one's recommendation for some good books. Get your attention, keep your attention, interesting books. They can be any style, fiction, non-fiction. They just have to be something that will grab and hold my attention!
I have really been enjoying reading lately, especially when I work out. I can easily do the elliptical machine for an hour when I have a good book. intense and crazy.
So bring it...
What are your recommendations?

I read on the elliptical trainer for an hour, too! My favorite authors are Karen Kingsbury, Angela Hunt, Francine Rivers, Renee Gutteridge, and Robin Jones Gunn....just to name a few.
I read while walking on the treadmill yesterday and today! It's not as difficult as I thought. Here are some of my recommendations:
The Bookseller of Kabul (currently reading) by Asne somebody...
I'm a Stranger Here Myself by Bill Bryson
Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom
In A Sunburned Country by Bill Bryson
Those are a few I've enjoyed this year!
OK, if you're looking for suspense/mystery/fiction type books, I think Mary Higgins Clark is the best. "Remember Me" and "A Stranger is Watching" are probably my favorites of hers. I like James Patterson too. The Women's Murder Club series is pretty good (1st to die, 2nd chance - they all have numbers in their title). He is a little more vulgar than MHC but lots of twists and turns.
Hmm. . . I should probably be exercising while I read too!
Oh Em... There are many good ones.
My recent Fav is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak - Fabulous story about a little girl in Nazi Germany.
I've been trying to read a lot of multicultural lit. for school so I can hopefully get kids to think beyond themselves... Robert Luis Urrea is a good one.
Persepolis - Marjane Satrapi- A graphic novel, should be really easy to read while working out. Lots of pictures! :)
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
Enjoy!
Eat. Pray. Love. by Elizabeth Gilbert
To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
I'll let you know if I think of more. I miss my bookshelf more than anything!
