Layering Math Problems

For those of you who know my love of layering will find this funny.
My bro-in-law always like to make fun of me about it.
I read this on my sister's blog:
Noah and Joe were doing math problems the other morning. This is what I overheard...

"Emily was trying to decide what outfit to wear. The first outfit was 17 layers. The second outfit was 22 layers. How many layers is that in all?"
